Anyone responsible for maintaining ongoing fire safety compliance or as defined by the Fire Services Act 1981-2003 "The Person Having Control" of the premises

Functional check – We test each door’s closer, hinges, latch, and seals for correct operation.
Visual inspection – We look at the door set (leaf and frame) for wear, damage, or missing components.
Compliance review – Compare each door set current condition against standards and previous reports.
Report & advice – Identify any issues and outline the actions needed to maintain compliance.
A concise written report highlighting compliant and non-compliant doors

Every 6 months, or more often in high-use areas, to maintain functional safety requirements and meet legal obligations.
