Our Fire Door Compliance Survey is the most detailed inspection service we offer. It’s a full, component-by-component examination designed to bring your building to verified fire door compliance. Each door is inspected, measured, photographed, and documented in line with current fire safety standards.
Designated person in control with responsibility for the Fire Safety Strategy on the premises
Building owners and managers preparing for audit or certification
Facilities with multiple fire doors requiring evidence of compliance
Property managers seeking an independent, competent-person report
Organisations needing detailed documentation for insurers or Fire Safety Officers
Pre-Inspection Site Visit: Before any inspection begins, we conduct a site visit to assess health and safety requirements, establish site access, contact points, and entry protocols and agree on inspection scope, timings, and methodology. This stage ensures minimal disruption to your building operations.
Detailed door-by-door inspection – Every door is examined against 22 point compliance checks . This is carried out by certified technicians using our tailored inspection reports.
Depending on client requirements, inspections may be:
Non-invasive – surface-level assessment of visible components.
Invasive – selective removal of architrave to examine fire-stopping between wall and frame (typically 1 in 15 doors sampled). Reinstatement of architrave may require minor redecorating or painting which remains the responsibility of the client.
Evidence collection – Each door is assessed, photographed, and assigned a unique identifier.
Compliance scoring – Doors are rated as compliant, partially compliant, or non-compliant.
Recommendations – You receive clear actions, prioritised by urgency, to reach full compliance.
